Kroy Biermann believes his four minor children need protection from “abusive” Kim Zolciak – and now is asking the court to provide them with a legal guardian.
The retired NFL player filed new court documents, obtained by Page Six, and in them he claims the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum has been “abusive” toward him with “little concern if the children are present.”
He further states that he fears his estranged wife, who is set to make a cameo in the Bravo series, will use the show to discuss her divorce and expose the children to behavior that is not beneficial for their “mental health and wellbeing.”
As a result, Biermann officially requested the court appoint a guardian ad litem for the children — Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia — to represent their “best interests” amid their parents’ ongoing custody battle.

More specifically, the retired athlete wants two people from a local mediation group to conduct an investigation into Zolciak’s behavior, which allegedly includes driving recklessly with the kids in the car and constant gambling, “immediately.”
Zolciak, 45, has yet to file a legal response to Biermann’s request.
The “Don’t Be Tardy” alum previously accused Biermann, 37, of suffering from substance abuse issues and requested he be drug tested.

In the new filing, Biermann claims Zolciak had “no proof to support her claims” that he was smoking marijuana so much that he was “unable to care for the children.”

The former couple filed for divorce on May 8 after 11 years of marriage. In light of “financial necessity,” according to the court documents, Zolciak and Biermann “continue to live together” in their Georgia mansion.
“The divorce is far from amicable and continues to deteriorate…” Biermann states in the documents.

“RHOA” star Shereé Whitfield told Page Six that the legal battle is “not easy” for Zolciak.
“She’s dealing with a lot. She has a lot of kids and is just really trying to be strong for the kids,” Whitfield, 53, said of her former castmate on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“But at the same time, you’re going through so much. And I was there with her,” she continued. “I’ve done it before. It’s not fun and it’s not easy.”
