Taylor Swift visibly ‘emotional’ performing breakup song amid Matty Healy split

Taylor Swift bravely performed breakup ballads Sunday night amid her and Matty Healy’s split.

The “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” singer looked “on the verge of crying” while performing the 2016 single for a Chicago audience at Soldier Field, one attendee tweeted on Monday.

“Wondering if I dodged a bullet, or just lost the love of my life?” the Grammy winner, 33, sang with a trembling voice while seated at a piano over the weekend.

Eras Tour concertgoers reacted to the emotional performance online.

“Someone tell her she doesn’t have to do it to herself if she’s not ready,” the Twitter user wrote. “We can enjoy change, superman, dorothea, closure and other songs (repeats included) too.”

Others praised Swift for not hiding her “raw emotions,” writing, “I was there and seeing her this emotional almost made cry.”

Another pointed out that Healy’s band, The 1975, performed “102,” another emotional ballad, the following evening in Vienna.

“Between Taylor looking like she might cry during ‘I don’t Want to Live Forever’ and Matty playing ‘102’ it’s a sad time to be a Taylor and a 1975 fan,” the social media user wrote.

The singers were first romantically linked in May, shortly after news broke of Swift’s breakup from longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

While she and Healy never confirmed their relationship, the duo were photographed on multiple occasions — and even spotted kissing by an eyewitness during a Casa Cipriani date last month.

Many of Swift’s fans blasted her partner, bringing Healy’s past controversies to light, including his “Adam Friedland Show” podcast episode from February.

On Monday, TMZ broke the news that the couple had called it quits.

“It’s a natural evolution of a fun little thing whose moment is over,” a source told Page Six, alleging that the actress was “blowing off steam.”
