Sarah Ferguson is so excited to be a grandmother of three that she accidentally hinted at her daughter Princess Eugenie’s due date.
The Duchess of York revealed her youngest daughter is gearing up to welcome her second child sooner than people might think after Eugenie was vague in her initial announcement.
“We don’t know what it is yet,” Ferguson told Hello! of the baby’s sex. “But the baby is due by the end of May, I think. So it’s any minute now.”
She then described herself as “one of the best grannies ever.”

Last month, Ferguson, 63 said that her grandchildren find her “very funny.”
“It’s a whole new phase of life and I am modeling myself on Super Gran,” she told OK! Magazine.
“I love being with them and how it brings out my inner child. My grandchildren seem to find me very funny. I love indulging them, too.”

Eugenie, 33, revealed she was expecting her second child with husband Jack Brooksbank in January, sharing a sweet snap on Instagram.
However Eugenie, who already shares 2-year-old son August with Brooksbank, didn’t reveal the exact date she expects to welcome her little one, instead writing, “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.”
The palace also released a statement about the exciting news, saying, “The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother.”

The baby will be 13th in line to the British throne and the third grandchild of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Eugenie welcomed her first child with her husband Jack, 36, in February 2021.
The pair tied the knot in October 2018, 9 months after Jack popped the question.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021,” the palace’s official statement read at the time. “The baby weighs 8 lbs. 1 oz.”
The princess included a subtle tribute to her late grandfather, Prince Philip, in her son’s full name: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
In addition to August, Prince Andrew and Ferguson are also grandparents to Princess Beatrice’s young daughter Sienna, who was born in September 2021.
